Opening of the photo exhibition and workshop on human rights based approach to development cooperation

From March to June Ekvilib institute will be conducting workshops on Human Rights Based Approach to Development Cooperation.

The second workshop will be held in Maribor, followed by the opening of the photographic exhibition "GLOBAL WORLD: through the lens of human rights."

Date and time: Thursday, April 8th 2010

Venue: KIBLA (Ul. Kneza Koclja, 2000 Maribor)

Participants in the workshop will gain knowledge of basic concepts of human rights and development cooperation, get an insight into the Slovenian and European development policy and practice and learn in more on Human Rights-Based Approach to Development and its application in development projects.

The workshop is intended for all of those who want to gain insight into international development cooperation and learn how to incorporate human rights into development projects and programs. It is suitable for individuals who already have experience working in development sector, as well as for those who want to learn more about it.
