When can we say that a certain campaign in its communications, language and objectives includes the aspect of human rights?

The lecture will be held in English.

Lecture description:

In the last 15 years, the principles and standards of human rights have become more and more involved in the operation of various development actors, including the United Nations agencies, international organizations such as the OESC, OECD, non-governmental development organizations, etc. In the scope of the lecture participants will be introduced to basic principles of human rights and development cooperation in terms of human rights (human rights based approach to development) and will learn, how this relates to the field of campaigns and other communication activities in the development sector. Individual case studies will be presented and critically evaluated in terms of human rights. The lecture will also point out  when and why an individual campaign, in terms of its message, language and objectives, truly includes a human rights aspect.
