Integrating the human rights aspect into policies and practices of development cooperation
Ekvilib Institute strives to improve the capacity and expertise in development cooperation based on respect for human rights (so-called human rights based approach to development cooperation).
Our work in this area consists of increasing public awareness, promoting public support for development in terms of human rights, preparing and conducting media campaigns and participating in political dialogue at national and European level in support of strategies, policies and activities that contribute to global development in terms of human rights.
As part of our lobbying and advocacy work, we are committed to improving visibility of development challenges in terms of human rights among decision-makers and politicians, both on international and national level and we are committed to systematic integration of human rights into development policies and practices.
