Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate social responsibility concept is increasingly gaining in importance and effect and is becoming an indispensable part of everyday business. Corporate Responsibility is in fact no longer just a trend but demand of the wider stakeholders that from the enterprises/organisations don't expect only more quality products and services.Enterprises/organisations are not responsible only to their owners, shareholders, but also to entire society and individuals within it.

The most commonly used definition of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the EU level is defined as a concept in which companies on a voluntary level, concern for society and the environment in their daily operations and their relationships with stakeholders.

Social responsibility of each company is exceeding boundaries and expectations of legal frameworks and laws, because the company pays more attention to human resources, relations with stakeholders and the environment itself1.
