Concept of corporate social responsibility in Slovenia is slowly becoming more and more important tool and indispensable part of everyday business, even though activities at national level are still in progress.
Step forward was made when government of Slovenia established working group in 2005. It's main goal is preparation of national CSR strategy and coordination of different activities from CSR field. Sadlly working group is remining quite inactive.
Most active are remaining private iniciatives, like NGOs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, but above all individual enterprises are actually the ones, implementing different measures in their core businesses.
